To do in the area

Situated a bare 50 meters from the stunning panorama of Nahal Zin, on the edge of the Zin National Park, the Krivine Guesthouse is perfectly situated to experience the diversity of the Negev. Our visitors come to the Krivines because of the comfortable and elegant accommodation, the peacefulness of the garden, real oasis of greenery in the middle of a harsh desert. They also come because of the warm welcome they receive from their hosts, John, originally from London, and Marion, originally from Lyons in France, in the full tradition of an authentic English B & B.

The Indian studio (40 sq. m.) is air-conditioned, with a king size bed (which can be used as twin beds on request), a large en-suite shower/toilet, sofa bed (140*190) and kitchenette with indoor eating area, desk and wardrobe.

The English studio (40 sq. m.) consists of one large area with separated kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. Although the room doesn’t meet all the official criteria for a handicap access, it is fully wheelchair accessible with a ramp, a large bathroom doors and large shower.

The French apartment (45 sq.m.) has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a separate living-room with kitchenette with 2 single sofa beds and indoor eating area, shower/toilet en-suite. It is tastefully decorated with curios and reminders of Marion’s French background.

Visitors come to the Negev to enjoy this desert panorama, among the most spectacular in Israel, to visit the grave of David Ben Gurion (the first Prime Minister of Israel) or see his home at Kibbutz Sde Boker (6 km to the north). Visitors come mainly for the hiking. From easy walks, suitable for all ages, through to more difficult treks for keen walkers, guests are sure to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes.
Midreshet Ben Gurion is also a convenient starting point for several sections of Shvil Israel. There are also various levels of climbing, trails for mountain biking and the option of tours by jeep.
